We have been in Collison, Illinois since 1990. We are delighted to live on the Middle Fork Wildlife preserve which is over 2800 acres big and has 35 miles of trails. There are big hills (yes in Illinois), the river and excellent footing all year round. It is truly beautiful in every season. We believe in turn out for horses and feel our pasture with the hills keeps our horses fit and going well into their mid 20’s.
From beginners to advanced riders, we offer private English riding lessons by Mary Clevenger, who has competed successfully in eventing, hunter/jumper and dressage for over 30 years. Her students have shown and won successfully in dressage, three day eventing, and jumping.
Learn basic skills or work on dressage, jumping and schooling cross country. Lease your lesson horse.
Twin Springs Farm is a full service boarding facility that accepts a limited number of clients. We are conveniently located just 30 minutes from Champaign-Urbana and ten minutes from Danville, Illinois.
Our horses enjoy ample turn-out most of the year on well maintained pasture that naturally keeps your horse fit due to the rolling hills. Along with the larger 30 acre pasture, boarders also have the option of smaller pastures.
Pasture layups and retirements are welcome.
We pride ourselves on our care of our horses. Farrier visits are usually every week, or by appointment.
Amenities include a large indoor and outdoor arena, round pen, and a jump course.
Best of all, our property is adjacent to the Middle Fork Wildlife Preserve for unlimited trail riding year round!
