On-Farm Leases

Leasing:  a fun and economical alternative for riding

Enjoy all the fun of horse ownership at a fraction of a cost of purchasing your own horse!  Ride 3-4 times per week at our barn on a flexible, yet set schedule. You can use my tack (English saddle, snaffle bridle, girth) as long as you help keep it clean, but you will need your own helmet and personal riding gear.

We are hunting for kind-hearted, safe riders who need a horse with experience to ride. Our horses are schooled for dressage, basic jumping, and hacking out on the trails under English tack.

Leasing policies:

— We reserve the right to select suitable mounts for your level of experience.

— A three month commitment is required.

— Horses stay on the farm.

— Some leases will require lessons, depending on the horse and your goals.

9 yo 16.1hh homebred bay Thoroughbred mare. Bella had a great season last year. She went to several clinics/lessons away from home and schooled cross country over ditches, banks, water and various BN and Novice fences and was a super star. She jumped all the jumps and seemed to enjoy herself. She hauls well and adjusts easily to new situations. She is now learning dressage too. At her first show ever she also jumped all the jumps, was polite at the show to others and away from other horses and won a flat class with>25 in it and placed well in every class on the flat and over fences she was in.  She went to her first starter event and got third!  She really loves the cross country phase.  She is also for sale to the right buyer.  $200 a month to lease.  Lessons required.
